A nourishing meal for body, soul, and mind where you are gently guided into connection with your whole self through the senses.
A culinary experience where you can learn to slow down, track desire, anticipate, and savor layers of flavor.
A setting held by a sturdy, somatic and trauma-informed host, creating the safety to show up vulnerably and courageously.

The first retreat I co-hosted with The Well, I cooked all the meals from scratch and decided to bring my somatic skills to the table. I developed a nervous-system grounding exercise that slowed the entire eating experience down in order to sense and savor each bite like it was a long anticipated prize. The somatic mealtime ended up being most participants favorite part of the retreat. The following Well Retreat, themed on sensuality and eroticism, was triple the participant size and five days long. I cooked with vibrant ingredients and textures in the hopes of letting the food be a vessel to ignite desire, sensuality and desire. I felt like I was living some kind of therapy meets Food Network dream…
Some of my earliest memories were watching The Food Network with my grandfather, dreaming of being on Chopped and always strategizing what I would make from a mystery basket ingredients. While working for one of Seattle’s most well known chefs and putting myself through grad school to be a therapist, my love and passion for cooking only grew. I envied the chefs and studied the plating, often recreating the dishes at home for weekly potluck dinners with friends. I was hired several times to cater events and found myself craving the experience of delighting guests with food. Once I blended cooking with my clinical experience as a Somatic Therapist, I knew that giving a table full of people the opportunity to slow down, connect communally through the senses, we could uncover a deeper pleasure by being present to the nourishment and the magic around us.
THE SOMATIC TABLE INTIMATE HOME GATHERINGS:
I host The Somatic Table as a holistic dining experience for 12 in my home twice a year, with rotating themes and topics. Each seat at the table is sold as a single entry. The meals are intentionally alcohol-free. Bring your friends, meet some beautiful strangers and leave full of an experience of depth, connection and intimacy with yourself and others.

Breakfasts:
Baked granola with coconut, cinnamon, pecans, almonds, cashews, flax, hemp, chia, and sesame seeds
Housemade oat milk sweetened with dates and fresh berries
Roasted mushroom and spinach fritatta with mint, cilantro and dill
Lunch:
Creamy sausage soup with sweet potato, sage, rosemary, red onion and kale
Spiced chickpea stew with tumeric, coconut and mint
Warm kale salad with garlic, sultanas, pickled beets and feta
Dinner:
Wine braised roast with creamy rosemary polenta
Fennel and carrots with harissa and yogurt
Lettuces with lemon, roasted pistachio, pecorino, and dill
Fresh sourdough bread with compound herb butter
